Kiilop\u00e4\u00e4 Hotel and cabin accommodation in Saariselk\u00e4 area is a great base for day trips or a starting point for longer hikes. From Kiilop\u00e4\u00e4 you can get to Saariselk\u00e4 ski slopes and the gate to the Urho Kekkonen National Park is located in our yard. From the gate there are both easy and demanding trails. You can rent outdoor equipment from us for summer and winter for a day or longer time. The rental shop is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm for hotel guests and other guests. At the end of the day you can relax in the smoke sauna and swimming area of the Kuurakaltio. Our caf\u00e9 and restaurant are a great stopover for longer outdoor activities. Many skiers from Saariselk\u00e4 stop by for lunch. Located in the Urho Kekkonen National Park, Kiilop\u00e4\u00e4 is easily accessible from the park&#8217;s Kiilop\u00e4\u00e4 gate, and the distance to the top is about two kilometres in each direction by the well-marked trail.
