Der Nordteil besteht aus wilder Natur und Fjells, die zum Teil h\u00f6her als 500 m sind. Der weitl\u00e4ufige Nationalpark erstreckt sich \u00f6stlich des Outdoorresorts Saariselk\u00e4 bis hin zur russischen Grenze. Sie k\u00f6nnen die wundersch\u00f6ne Landschaft zu Fu\u00df oder auf Skiern erkunden, im Winter und Herbst das fantastische Schauspiel der Polarlichter beobachten und im Sommer die Mitternachtssonne erleben. Der Park verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber Finnlands dichtestes Netz an Tages- und Schutzh\u00fctten.<\/p>\n<p>In den Gebieten um Saariselk\u00e4, Kiilop\u00e4\u00e4 und Kakslauttanen gibt es gut ausgeschilderte Wanderwege, so dass sich der Nationalpark auch ideal f\u00fcr mehrt\u00e4gige Touren eignet. Im Winter findet man hier gespurte Loipen f\u00fcr Langl\u00e4ufer sowie Schneeschuh- und Wanderwege. Der Fluss Lemmenjoki flie\u00dft \u00fcber 70 km durch den Nationalpark. Der Lemmenjoki ist auch f\u00fcr seine traditionelle Goldgr\u00e4berkultur bekannt. Er dient auch heute noch als Goldgr\u00e4berfluss. Auf gef\u00fchrten Touren haben Besucher die M\u00f6glichkeit, sich im Goldwaschen zu versuchen. <\/p>\n<p>Den Lemmenjoki kann man am besten auf einer Bootstour entdecken, die durch die wundersch\u00f6ne Natur und die legend\u00e4ren Sch\u00fcrfgebiete des Nationalparks Lemmenjoki f\u00fchrt. Dank ausgeschilderter Routen sowie Schutz- und Mieth\u00fctten lassen sich Flusstal und Goldgr\u00e4berfelder wunderbar auf einer Wanderung erkunden. Wandern Sie zu den Ravadas Wasserf\u00e4llen, steigen Sie auf den Gipfel des Fjells Joenkielinen, besuchen Sie die Farm des \u201eRentierk\u00f6nigs\u201c Kaapin Jouni, entdecken Sie die Goldgr\u00e4berfelder und vieles mehr! Es gibt zwei markierte, ziemlich anspruchsvolle Wanderrouten, die 63 km und 86 km lang sind, sowie einen 2 km langen Naturpfad, der am Ausgangspunkt Sulaoja beginnt. Die einzigartige Landschaft bietet Lebensraum f\u00fcr seltene Vogelarten, weshalb das Betreten nur auf den ausgeschilderten Wegen gestattet ist. Herzst\u00fcck des Naturschutzgebietes ist der 40 km lange und 80 m tiefe Canyon, durch den sich der Fluss Kevojoki seinen Weg bahnt. Zum Naturschutzgebiet geh\u00f6rt \u00fcberdies die umliegende, leicht zerkl\u00fcftete Fjelllandschaft. Hier findet man auch ausgedehnte, tundraartige Moorgebiete. Besonders w\u00e4hrend der Zeit der Mitternachtssonne ist Kevo ein Wanderziel der besonderen Art. In diesen unbebauten und stra\u00dfenlosen Gebieten k\u00f6nnen Sie tagelang wandern, ohne auf einen anderen Menschen zu treffen. In den Wildnisgebieten d\u00fcrfen nur traditionelle Erwerbszweige betrieben werden, wie Jagen, Fischen und Rentierhaltung. Die Gebiete zielen auf den Schutz und Erhalt der unber\u00fchrten Natur, die Pflege der Kultur und traditionellen Lebensweise der Samen sowie die F\u00f6rderung der Diversit\u00e4t in der Nutzung der Natur und ihres Potentials. Wandern und Langlauf sind gestattet, wobei ber\u00fccksichtigt werden muss, dass sich diese Gebiete nur f\u00fcr erfahrene Wanderer eignen, die sich gut orientieren k\u00f6nnen.
